I had been admiring these adorable monogrammed items for a very long time before I even knew they were products of Leontine Linens. Little did I know, I would be living in the same dormitory as the founder of the company's daughter this year! Talley, always decked out in some form of monogrammed jammies, had a cosmetic case on her dresser that I immediately recognized from some blog, and that's how I came to hear the story of Jane Scott and her Leontine Linens. A Taftie herself, Jane Scott Hodges began her company with the belief that one's linens should be a reflection and extension of the person's personal taste and lifestyle. Jane was influenced by her Southern upbringing and a belief in the importance of heritage and was always fascinated with antiques and heirlooms. She started her business in 1996.
I was ecstatic when I saw her featured (among many!) in my favorite online magazine, Matchbook, in December.
I am so fascinated with the quality and look of her products; the different styles of monograms are endless, and entirely up to the customer! From bedding to jewelry boxes, I want them all!
